Internship Program

The internship program at FIRE School of Ministry is an opportunity for students to acquire supervised practical ministry experience and, at the same time, to make a valuable contribution by serving in a ministry context.  Interns will be connected with organizations or entities that have goals and values consistent with those of FIRE School of Ministry Philippines.

Each student will complete an internship during the Semester.  Students will earn sixteen credits total. The internship must last a minimum of sixteen weeks, at no less than twenty hours per week.  Students must have a cumulative GPA of 2.0 and be in good standing with FIRE School of Ministry in order to begin an internship. The student has the option of completing two eight week internships, instead of one sixteen week internship.

Through the FIRE School of Ministry internship program, we desire to place servanthood hand-in-hand with the opportunity to gain experience and knowledge in a practical ministry setting.  As such, the internship program will seek to:

  • Teach the interns a lifestyle of servanthood in every capacity.
  • Expose the interns to real-life ministry, even as they are impacting the lives of those to whom they are serving and ministering.
  • Help the interns develop and grow in their areas of gifting and calling.
  • Provide opportunities for the interns to learn to take responsibility and make a valuable contribution to a team.
  • Improve the interns’ relational/people skills and their ability to work with others.
  • Teach the interns, as they serve alongside experienced ministers, to minister more skillfully and effectively.

Student Testimonials

My two and a half years in Fire School of Ministry Philippines was pretty amazing. And I’m forever grateful for the people who helped me and train me to be a woman who I am today. Fire School of Ministry Philippines helped to grow deeper with my relationship with my creator, they encourage me to pursue God and cultivating my intimate relationship with Him. They also helped me to be a woman of prayer, I am not a person of long hours prayer but they thought me how to spent time with God in my secret place and I tell you I never regret learning it. Most of all Fire School of Ministry Philippines taught me to run my race with a strong faith with my Heavenly Father, that no matter what happen in the seasons that I’m with don’t give up just press on and finished what I’ve started.

Graduate, Batch 2019

My experienced  as a student in FIRE School of Ministry was full of encounters with God’s Presence, God’s Word, and God’s power. A moment that I will never regret in my whole life. Because being there, God taught me that there is more of Him than what I have already experienced. Being in FIRE School was not easy but it was so worth it! It was worth it because I really encountered God. What makes FIRE School of Ministry so dear to me is the very presence of God. His presence was so real, His power is visible, His love is overwhelming and also His servants (our teachers) are zealous for Him. And because of that my life was never been the same again. Looking back to those encounters keeps me to look to God and be hungry and thirsty for more of Him in my life. MY ENCOUNTER WITH GOD CHANGED ME AND I WANT TO ENCOUNTER HIM MORE!

FIRE School of Ministry Philippines, is the perfect place for anyone who desires to grow in their personal relationship with God. My time at FIRE, has been a challenging one both spiritually and academically. The curriculum is intentionally set up to push students to their limits, thereby triggering them to perform in their full potentials. I thought i knew a whole lot about being a child of God, until i enrolled at FIRE.

The mentor group sessions, create time to interact and learn from each other’s knowledge and experiences, while the weekly practical ministries give students the opportunity to demonstrate in real life circumstances, all the knowledge acquired in class.

FIRE School of Ministry Philippines is a place to be and its importance only be accurately assesed when one is enrolled. It’s been two years and counting for me, just a little more to completion and God has been faithful to provide and inspire. Is He calling you to take the challenge? Do not hesitate!

Franklin

Second Year Student

It’s a great priveleged and honor to be mentored, trained and equipped by FIRE SCHOOL OF MINISTRY Philippines. Before I enter the school I am a new believer of Christ that time. I only knew few Biblical Scripture, curious about what God can do to me and desperate to know about God. In that moment,I have this desire in my heart to serve God and fulfill His will in my life. FSM helped me to be more intimate with God and that helped me to know my identity in Him. In this school I am surrounded with people that declares confidence and boldness in me. And now everytime they called me to speak or share I stand with confidence from the Lord. They also teaches the kingdom character (humility, compassion, honor, respect patience, endurance and etc), passion for revival, heart for missions and to become world changer. I am already a graduate of this school, working in a ministry an orphanage. Still deeply in love with our Lord and burning to fulfill His will in my life. I am impacting the lives of the children and leading a small group of sister’s in Christ here in the orphanage. I encourage you all to be part, mentored, trained and equipped if you want to be effective in serving our Lord Jesus Christ.
